Business & Economics Teacher – Secondary School (Bushey)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Business & Economics Teacher to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Bushey starting September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies and Economics to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 learners, delivering engaging lessons in a supportive, high‑expectation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Business Studies and Economics lessons for KS4 and KS5.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through collaboration with colleagues and participation in school activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development and share best practices with the teaching team.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Business Studies and Economics at KS4/KS5, or the ability to teach these subjects confidently as an Early Career Teacher.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
