Business Immigration Associate – Senior Associate (Birmingham)

About the role

Join a leading Legal 100 firm’s expanding Business Immigration team in Birmingham. You will work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients across healthcare, higher education and commercial sectors, providing specialist advice on ever‑changing immigration legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers on a wide range of business immigration matters, including Skilled Worker and other corporate routes.
• Prepare and manage Sponsor Licence applications and deliver ongoing compliance support.
• Navigate the Sponsor Management System (SMS) and allocate Certificates of Sponsorship.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure client strategies remain aligned with Home Office policy.
• Develop trusted adviser relationships with organisations facing complex immigration challenges.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with experience in business immigration law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sponsor licences and compliance matters.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
