About the role

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is seeking a qualified Business Immigration Solicitor to join its Birmingham team. You will work within a top‑tier immigration practice, advising corporate clients and high‑net‑worth individuals on UK immigration matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on business immigration routes, sponsorship licences and points‑based system applications.
• Prepare and submit visa, work permit and settlement applications for corporate and private clients.
• Represent clients in complex appeals before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers on human‑rights and asylum matters as they intersect with business immigration.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of immigration legislation and policy changes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor regulated by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority (SRA).
• Demonstrated experience in business immigration law, including sponsorship and points‑based applications.
• Proven ability to manage high‑value and high‑complexity cases.
• Strong analytical and advocacy skills, with experience in appellate work preferred.
