Business Integrator Internship – Single Aisle Placement

About the role

This 12.5‑month internship is based in the Single Aisle Structures area of Airbus' Broughton site, supporting wing manufacturing operations. You will gain hands‑on experience in finance, lean processes, and environmental projects while working with operational management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Finance management including budgeting and project forecasting.
• Running shop‑floor workshops to remove waste and improve efficiency following lean principles.
• Utilising Airbus processes and leading change‑projects.
• Supporting operations through Click ‘n’ Buy – purchasing, supplier negotiation and stock tracking.
• Assisting the production system and the Environmental Health & Safety controller.
• Implementing environmental and risk‑reduction projects.
• Managing stakeholders and delivering results to customers.
• Providing training and knowledge transfer within the team.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying Business, Engineering or a related field, remaining enrolled for the full placement.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
• Experience working in groups or teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High proficiency with G Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets).
• Team‑oriented, flexible and driven attitude.
• Creative problem‑solving with enthusiasm to learn.
• Basic understanding of project management.
