Business Lecturer

About the role

The Supply Register is seeking enthusiastic Business Lecturers to join its bank staff supporting NCG South London Colleges, including Southwark College, Lewisham College and the HE Centre at Harbour Exchange, Canary Wharf. This flexible teaching role offers opportunities across Further and Higher Education, allowing you to deliver industry‑relevant business education to diverse learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching for Business courses from Level 1 to Level 5.
• Teach subjects such as Business Studies, Marketing, Management, Enterprise, Finance and Human Resources.
• Plan and deliver inclusive, learner‑focused lessons.
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback and academic support.
• Support learners in achieving qualifications and career goals.
• Contribute to a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
• Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Experience teaching Business in Further Education, Higher Education, schools or training environments.
• Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
