Business Lecturer (Part‑time)

About the role
Reed FE is looking for an enthusiastic Business Lecturer to join its Surrey campus on a part‑time basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality BTEC Level 1‑3 business courses and supporting learners as they develop the knowledge and confidence needed for future careers.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for BTEC Level 1‑3 business programmes.
- Provide personalised support to help students progress academically and professionally.
- Keep curriculum content up‑to‑date with current developments in further education and adult learning.
- Address the specific challenges of teaching in a further‑education environment to maximise student engagement.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or equivalent industrial/professional qualification.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, CertEd or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the FE/Adult curriculum and its challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of current developments in the FE/Adult curriculum.
