Business Manager – CAO Office

About the role

The Business Manager will work within the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) office, supporting both department‑wide and firm‑wide initiatives that drive strategic objectives and operational efficiency. This role offers the chance to influence process improvement, data‑driven decision making and change programmes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CAO and Chief of Staff in decision‑making, stakeholder communication and change delivery.
• Manage commercial contracts, vendor strategy, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyse business challenges through data modelling and process re‑engineering.
• Coordinate departmental events such as town‑halls and off‑sites to enhance effectiveness.
• Prepare presentation material for committees and stakeholder groups.
• Lead cross‑business unit change initiatives, including regulatory and AI transformation projects.
• Assist with CAO‑specific responsibilities such as the insurance programme and corporate sustainability efforts.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business or change management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and commercial contract management.
• Demonstrated capability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Experience delivering change programmes across multiple business units.
