Business Manager – Financial Planning & Governance

About the role

Santander Digital Services is seeking a Business Manager to join the T&O Office in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for financial planning, performance control and governance across the Business Solutions area, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Track end‑to‑end financial performance, conduct P&L analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear management insight.
• Develop and maintain financial control and governance frameworks to support accuracy, consistency and compliance.
• Deliver strategic financial analysis, scenario modelling and insight to support investment decisions and business planning.
• Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely high‑quality outputs.
• Drive cost optimisation, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives while strengthening risk and control practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and performance management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
• Solid understanding of financial governance, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to lead optimisation and efficiency projects across a complex organisation.
