Business Manager – Public Sector Finance & Procurement

About the role

Reed is launching a new Public Sector Hub in Hammersmith and is looking for an experienced 360 recruiter to lead and grow its Finance & Procurement offering across West London. This Business Manager role combines market development, client relationship management, and end‑to‑end recruitment delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand Reed’s Public Sector Finance & Procurement business in West London.
• Manage a 360 desk covering permanent, interim and contract recruitment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with public sector clients and key decision‑makers.
• Generate new business through strategic development and networking.
• Establish and grow a brand‑new Public Sector hub, laying the foundation for future team expansion.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a 360 recruiter within the public sector (local government, central government, NHS, housing, education, etc.).
• Deep understanding of the public sector finance and procurement market.
• Experience at senior or principal consultant level, ready to take the next career step.
• Strong client‑facing and business development capabilities.
