Business Manager – Veteran Transition Programme

About the role

Man Group’s Veteran Transition Programme offers a six‑month Business Manager placement within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) in London. The role is designed for military veterans moving into a civilian environment, providing professional assignments that match their skills and interests, alongside dedicated coaching, mentoring and access to the firm’s network.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CAO and Chief of Staff in delivering strategic objectives, including decision support, messaging, stakeholder management and change delivery.
• Manage business functions such as commercial contract administration, vendor strategy, budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify and redesign processes to improve efficiency, drive innovation and align with firm‑wide strategic goals.
• Collaborate across departments to address business challenges and contribute to change‑management initiatives.
