Business Services Associate Director

About the role

We are seeking a Business Services Associate Director to join our leadership team in Truro. You will manage a diverse portfolio of limited companies, SMEs and OMB clients, delivering compliance, advisory, and tax services while supporting the firm’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of year‑end accounts, tax returns and advisory projects for clients up to audit‑threshold turnover.
• Lead advisory and tax project work, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base.
• Recruit, mentor and grow a team of accountants and tax specialists.
• Collaborate with the wider leadership group on strategic planning and firm development.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA.
• Significant experience within a UK accountancy practice, handling accounts, tax and general advisory services.
• Background at a salaried Director level or equivalent senior role.
• Experience across firms of varying size, from small independents to top‑tier practices.
