Business Services Manager

About the role

The firm is seeking a Business Services Manager to lead its Accounts & Business Advisory practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of ambitious clients across sectors such as healthcare, food & drink, agriculture, construction and not‑for‑profit, delivering strategic financial advice and shaping service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a varied client portfolio, providing high‑quality advisory services.
• Develop and deliver financial forecasts, budgeting and strategic planning for growing businesses.
• Mentor, coach and inspire a growing team, leading training and performance conversations.
• Drive departmental goals, strategy and business development activities, including tender support.
• Maintain smooth workflows, meet deadlines and continuously improve processes.
• Act as the trusted go‑to advisor for clients, building long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Professional qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent) with several years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing people and client portfolios.
• Strong relationship‑building and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to quality, clear communication and collaborative working.
