Business Services Senior – Accountancy Practice

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Services Senior to join our growing accountancy practice in Glasgow. You will work with a diverse client portfolio, preparing financial statements and tax computations while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for review.
• Prepare draft business tax computations and assist with corporate tax returns.
• Produce VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments and management accounts for a varied client base.
• Assist in filing statutory accounts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Identify and raise technical or client queries with senior managers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• AAT, ICAS, ACCA or ACA qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice within Business Services or Accounts.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Proactive, confident and excellent communicator with a collaborative attitude.
• Genuine desire to develop a career within a supportive team.
