Business Studies & Computer Science Teacher (Secondary School)

About the role

This full‑time position is for a secondary school teacher who will deliver both Business Studies and Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role sits within a school that has a strong Creative Enterprise specialism and values autonomy, CPD and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the Business Studies curriculum in line with national standards.
• Plan, deliver and assess the Computer Science curriculum, covering programming fundamentals and digital literacy.
• Use real‑world contexts to engage students and develop their understanding of the world of work.
• Contribute to department development, including potential leadership responsibilities.
• Participate in whole‑school initiatives, CPD sessions and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Ability to teach both Business Studies and Computer Science effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for inspiring young learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative work.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of Business Studies concepts and frameworks.
• Fundamental understanding of Computer Science principles and programming basics.
