About the role

We are looking for a qualified Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Hertfordshire on a full‑time, long‑term basis. The role involves delivering engaging lessons that help students understand business concepts, economics and entrepreneurship.

Key responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver effective Business Studies lessons.
Inspire students to develop a solid understanding of business practices and entrepreneurship.
Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to departmental planning.
Support school‑wide career, enterprise and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Passion for teaching Business Studies.
Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
