Business Systems Analyst

About the role

Robert Half Technology is seeking a Business Systems Analyst on a contract basis to help a leading UK consultancy optimise its finance and operational systems. The role is hybrid, based in London, and focuses on improving data flows between Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Zendesk and bespoke applications.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary business owner for Sage Intacct from a finance systems perspective.
• Identify and implement improvements to Sage Intacct usage, workflows, reporting and configuration.
• Analyse existing finance and operational processes, map end‑to‑end data journeys and eliminate manual trackers and spreadsheets.
• Translate business requirements into practical system solutions and support integration initiatives.
• Enhance data quality, governance and reporting using tools such as Power Query and DAX.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial and technical teams, providing user support, training and driving adoption of new processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience analysing and improving finance‑related processes.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and integrations, particularly Sage Intacct.
• Experience mapping processes, documenting workflows and understanding multi‑system data flows.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and drive system optimisation.
