Business Tax Manager – Property

About the role

We are recruiting a Business Tax Manager for the property team of an award‑winning chartered accountancy firm in the City of London. The role is client‑facing, combining corporation tax compliance with advisory work for property investors, developers and real estate funds.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporation tax compliance for a portfolio of property clients, including standalone entities and complex groups.
• Review tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Identify and implement tax‑efficient opportunities, providing advice on structuring, group reorganisations, tax planning and corporate interest restriction.
• Support corporate and property acquisitions, disposals and due‑diligence reporting.
• Oversee billing, monitor work‑in‑progress and manage the development of junior team members.
• Contribute to business development by attending property networking events and promoting the firm’s property tax services.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a client portfolio that includes corporate groups.
• CTA qualification preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax and property‑related tax issues.
• Ability to lead and develop junior staff.
