Buyer – Womenswear (Denim)

About the role

As a Buyer on the Womenswear team focusing on denim, you will drive sales and profitability by shaping the product and purchasing strategy for the COS customer. You will lead product development, collaborate cross‑functionally, and ensure a cohesive, commercially sound assortment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute a customer‑centric buying strategy aligned with market trends and brand direction.
• Own end‑to‑end product and component development, including samples, colours and materials, ensuring quality, sustainability and profitability.
• Analyse purchase targets, sales performance and customer insights to make data‑driven buying decisions.
• Collaborate with Design, Pattern, Fabric, Production, Buying Controllers, PO teams and Supply Chain to align budgets, timelines and component bookings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buyer with strong denim expertise, preferably in luxury or high‑quality environments.
• Deep understanding of customer needs, behaviour and fashion trends, able to translate insights into commercial assortments.
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, comfortable analysing sales, margins and purchase targets.
• Product‑development mindset and experience working closely with an in‑house design team.
