C++ Developer for Global Quant Firm

About the role

Join a leading global quant firm as a C++ Developer, working within a centralized trading team that supports multiple quant trading groups. You will help translate market events and economic data into finely tuned algorithmic strategies that directly impact the firm’s high‑frequency trading performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategy oversight, market knowledge, and technical capabilities to quant trading teams.
• Tune and optimise existing trading strategies to improve P&L under changing market conditions.
• Research and develop new tools for strategy analysis and market insight.
• Collaborate with traders and engineers to respond quickly to breaking news and emerging economic trends.
• Contribute to the research function that supports the firm’s overall trading success.

Required profile

• Highly analytical mind with strong critical‑thinking and pattern‑recognition abilities.
• Minimum 2 + years of professional programming experience in C++ and/or Python.
• Self‑starter who continuously seeks business improvements.
• Excellent Linux administration skills.
• Inquisitive, self‑driven, strong communicator with a genuine passion for trading.
• Not a fresh graduate; proven experience in a professional environment.
