About the role

Join a leading global quant firm in London as a C++ Engineer on the core UI team. You will work on high‑performance applications that support real‑time trading and visualise large historical data sets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop highly optimised C++ back‑end services on Linux to process massive data streams.
• Contribute to Qt‑based desktop UI components and maintain TypeScript/React web front‑ends.
• Write reliable, maintainable code and perform thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with traders, data scientists and other engineers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
• Strong Linux and low‑level systems programming background.
• Ability to design and build scalable back‑end services.
• Self‑motivated, strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning.
