C++ Quant Developer – Desk Aligned (Systematic Fund)

About the role

Join a leading tech‑driven systematic hedge fund as a C++ Quant Developer working directly on a trading desk. You will collaborate with traders and researchers to build and enhance ultra‑low‑latency trading engines, massive research platforms, and cloud‑based analytics infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise ultra‑low‑latency C++ trading systems tracking nanoseconds.
• Build and maintain research platforms handling terabytes of data daily.
• Implement analytics infrastructure on large‑scale cloud environments.
• Own projects from concept through delivery, ensuring robust, high‑performance solutions.
• Collaborate closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical implementations.

Required profile

• Strong academic background, ideally in Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quantitative trading environment.
• Excellent modern C++ skills (C++11/14/17 or later).
• Python experience is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of low‑level system behaviour (CPU, memory, OS, networking).
• Outstanding communication skills suitable for a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
