C++ Software Developer

About the role

Synertec is seeking a C++ Software Developer to join its Research and Development team in Bristol. You will build and maintain applications that support public and commercial sector clients, initially focusing on internal tools, web‑based products and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C++ applications to specification.
• Work on internal tools, web‑based products and API integrations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver releases on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation.
• Gradually expand involvement to C#, MFC.NET Framework and DevOps tasks as skills develop.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of commercial C++ development experience.
• Strong interest in innovation and continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
