About the role
We are looking for a C++ Software Developer to join our Market Data division in Cambridge. You will work on low‑latency trading platforms, contributing across the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain C/C++ applications that support our low‑latency trading platform.
- Implement new features, test, and maintain existing code while ensuring high performance.
- Investigate and resolve production issues for clients.
- Perform system integration, regression testing and enhance automated testing tools.
- Collaborate with agile team members to deliver quality software releases.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in software design and development.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in C++ with STL and Boost libraries.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments (Red‑Hat, CentOS).
- Scripting knowledge of Bash, Perl and Python.
- Familiarity with system testing and debugging tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, TDD/BDD and CI/CD pipelines.
