Cable Assembly Technician – Full Training Provided

About the role

This is an entry‑level position in a modern manufacturing environment where you will learn to assemble high‑performance cable systems. Full training is provided, making it ideal for candidates with no prior electrical assembly experience. The role is initially a six‑month fixed‑term contract with a high likelihood of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Build electrical connections and wiring assemblies
• Read wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
• Perform general cable assembly, crimping, and plugging of connectors
• Solder components and wire relays
• Assemble coaxial aerial cables
• Carry out dimensional and test checks during and after assembly
• Verify drawing issue status and equipment calibration before work
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Meet departmental and individual production targets
