Cable Jointer – Kent

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cable Jointer to join our team covering Kent and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for LV jointing operations, ensuring safe and compliant installation across electricity networks.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out jointing, cabling and excavation work on planned and emergency tasks.
• Review plans and drawings to understand work content.
• Perform risk assessments and follow DNO/IDNO codes of practice.
• Complete LV jointing works in line with safe working practices.
• Maintain a tidy jointing van and replenish consumables as needed.
• Accurately record details of all work undertaken.

Required profile

• Motivated, hard‑working with a background in HV/LV jointing.
• Experience with a DNO or IDNO is advantageous.
• Strong safety focus and ability to promote a safety culture.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to changing priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.
