CAD Detailer / Draughtsperson – Structural Steel

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Detailer/Draughtsperson with experience in structural steelwork to join a fast‑growing company based in Brentwood. The role involves creating accurate technical drawings that support the fabrication and installation of steel structures.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural steelwork drawings and general arrangement documents.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and coordinate revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with design teams, clients and fabricators to ensure design intent is met.
• Verify that all drawings comply with project specifications and company standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for each project.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a designer or detailer within the structural steel, metalwork or fabrication sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and editing drawings.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
