CAD Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing (Exeter)

About the role

We are seeking a CAD Engineer to join a global aerospace manufacturing leader. The role is based in Exeter and offers full specialist training, allowing you to develop state‑of‑the‑art equipment, components and systems for high‑performance engines.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications for aerospace manufacturing projects.
• Produce technical reports for internal and external customers.
• Support the mechanical design process and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil their design requirements.

Required profile

• Background in CAD, mechanical design, manufacturing design or a closely related field.
• Motivation to progress your career through specialist training and further qualifications.
• Ability to work on‑site in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience producing technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of mechanical and aerospace components.
