CAD Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

This permanent, site‑based position offers full specialist training in aerospace manufacturing design. You will work alongside technical experts on the development of state‑of‑the‑art equipment, components and systems for a global engineering company.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce technical reports for internal and external customers.
• Support the mechanical design process and liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the design and development of aerospace manufacturing equipment.

Required profile

• Background in CAD, mechanical design, manufacturing design or a closely related field.
• Motivation to progress your career through specialist training and further qualifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience in mechanical design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing design principles.
