CAD Technician – Lift Planner / Appointed Person

About the role
We are seeking a CAD Technician to join a leading machinery relocation company in Oldham. The role focuses on creating lift plans, method statements and risk assessments for heavy‑lifting projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed lift plant drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
- Calculate loads and generate load‑calculation reports.
- Develop Method Statements and RAMS for each project.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe execution of lifts.
- Maintain documentation and distribute it to client sites.
Required profile
- Background in CAD, construction, heavy machinery, automotive or site‑based engineering.
- Experience working with AutoCAD in a technical environment.
- Ability to commute to Oldham, North Manchester.
Required skills
- AutoCAD (2D)
