About the role

We are looking for a CAD Technician with experience in residential buildings to join a thriving social‑housing construction specialist. You will work within a small engineering team, creating detailed 2D drawings and supporting site surveys.

Key responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D drawings from building surveys using AutoCAD.
Assist surveyors in preparing design layouts, floor plans, elevations and sections.
Support site visits to gather measurements and verify drawing details.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure drawings meet specifications.

Required profile

Background in residential building projects or a similar sector.
Proficient use of AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
Willingness to travel to sites weekly for measurements.
Motivation to develop towards senior or team‑leader positions.
