Cafe Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Café Manager to lead one of our welcoming cafés in Stevenage. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, overseeing daily operations and developing a friendly, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall running of the café, ensuring cleanliness, organisation and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Drive sales performance by monitoring targets, analysing results and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop team members, providing regular feedback and recognising talent.
• Maintain product quality, stock levels and visual standards, and ensure all processes and routines are followed.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer experience while adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality or retail.
• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt leadership style to different situations.
