Café Manager – Lead a Tesco Café Team

About the role

We are looking for a Café Manager to lead one of Tesco’s welcoming cafés in Harlow. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, overseeing daily operations and developing a friendly, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall running of the café, ensuring cleanliness, safety and compliance with legal standards.
• Drive sales performance by monitoring targets, analysing trends and implementing improvements.
• Recruit, train, coach and schedule staff, fostering a supportive and motivated environment.
• Maintain product quality, stock levels and visual standards.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality or food service.
• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
