Cafe Supervisor – Denmark Hill

About the role

The Cafe Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the brand‑new Denmark Hill café within King’s College London Student Union. You will ensure smooth service, exceptional customer experiences and compliance with operational standards while shaping the café’s welcoming atmosphere and brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery and maintain high product knowledge.
• Lead by hands‑on example during service and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Build and sustain a welcoming atmosphere and consistent service quality.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Commercial Operations on service development, strategic initiatives and commercial strategies.
• Assist in planning and coordinating promotions, events and other customer‑engagement activities.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and day‑to‑day responsibility.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof of eligibility.
• Possesses a National Insurance number or is in the process of obtaining one.
• Must not be a trustee of King’s College London Students' Union.
