Calibration Engineer - Medical Devices

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Calibration Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement equipment used in the design, testing and manufacture of medical devices. The role involves planning, performing and documenting calibrations, as well as supporting equipment qualification and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform calibration, verification and preventive maintenance on laboratory, production and inspection equipment.
- Develop and maintain calibration schedules, records and traceability to national or international standards.
- Review calibration certificates and coordinate with external accredited calibration laboratories.
- Support equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and prepare related documentation.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist during regulatory inspections.
- Analyse calibration trends, propose corrective and preventive actions and maintain inventory of calibrated assets.
- Train technicians and operators on calibration procedures and proper equipment handling.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
- 2‑5 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation or equipment maintenance within the medical‑device, pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP and quality‑system requirements.
Required skills
- Calibration of pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, mass, electrical, dimensional and analytical instruments.
- Use of calibration management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and preparation of SOPs and work instructions.
What we offer
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday).
