CAMO Engineer – 12 month contract (Oxford)

About the role

We are seeking a CAMO Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace company on a 12‑month contract based in Oxford. You will support continuing airworthiness activities for helicopter products, ensuring compliance with Part‑CAMO regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process technical information such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and modification orders.
• Develop, update and implement Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and configuration records.
• Support Airworthiness Reviews and ARC extensions, and perform defect and reliability analysis.
• Maintain technical logs, enter utilisation data, and manage material planning and purchase requisitions.
• Update aircraft and engine records with task accomplishment details and manage component log cards.
• Provide cross‑functional support to the CAMO team and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Good understanding of aircraft continuing airworthiness requirements under Part‑CAMO.
• Experience with helicopter technical documentation.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues.
• High computer literacy, especially with Google Docs and specialised airworthiness management software.
