Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator to join a fast‑growing automotive repair and manufacturing business in Wallington. You will work on a variety of campervan projects, from simple upgrades to full custom builds, delivering high‑quality workmanship on multiple vehicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain campervans, handling mechanical, electrical and interior fit‑out tasks.
• Perform engine conversions, brake system repairs and general vehicle servicing.
• Fabricate and weld aluminium and steel components for bespoke builds.
• Install and service 12V electrical systems, including wiring and component integration.
• Carry out joinery and cabinetry work for custom interiors.
• Operate power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets high quality and durability standards.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant trade experience in vehicle conversions, mechanical repair or fabrication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking and capable of interpreting technical instructions accurately.
