Canteen Assistant – Full‑Time (Warrington)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Canteen Assistant to join our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington. The role is permanent, full‑time and guarantees 30 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold meals following food safety standards.
- Cook and serve meals at the counter.
- Receive deliveries and store them in kitchen storage.
- Replenish fridges and ensure stock levels.
- Clean kitchen utensils, appliances and work surfaces.
Required profile
- Ability to work under pressure without direct supervision.
- Effective communication with team members.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Desirable: a basic food hygiene qualification.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety.
Required skills
- Food hygiene knowledge.
