Cantonese-speaking nanny in London

About the role

We are looking for a warm, proactive Cantonese‑speaking nanny to provide full‑time childcare for two young children, a 4‑year‑old boy and a 1.5‑year‑old girl, in London. The role is long‑term, primarily focused on nurturing early development, language enrichment and daily care.

Key responsibilities

• Full weekday childcare (Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑7 pm)
• Nursery/school pick‑up and transport to local activities
• Planning and delivering age‑appropriate educational and play activities
• Preparing healthy meals, supporting mealtimes, naptime and bedtime routines
• Assisting with potty training and personal hygiene
• Maintaining Cantonese fluency through speaking, reading, storytelling, songs and crafts
• Light housework related to the children (e.g., cleaning surfaces after meals)
• Occasional paid evening babysitting or overtime as agreed

Required profile

• Native or fluent Cantonese speaker
• Significant nanny or early‑years experience, comfortable caring for toddlers and preschoolers
• Energetic, organised and passionate about early childhood development
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents and comfortable with a friendly pet cocker spaniel

Required skills

• Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written)
• Experience planning and delivering educational activities for young children
• Basic cooking skills for healthy child‑focused meals

What we offer

• Salary £50,000‑£65,000 per year
• Full‑time schedule Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑7 pm
• Live‑out accommodation with the option of a private live‑in bedroom and bathroom
