Canvasser – Door‑to‑door Fundraising Specialist

About the role

Charity Link is seeking enthusiastic canvassers to represent a portfolio of leading UK charities. You will engage the public face‑to‑face, explaining the mission of each charity and encouraging regular donations or sponsorships.

Key responsibilities

• Approach households and public spaces to discuss charitable causes.
• Secure regular giving commitments and record donor details accurately.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly fundraising targets.
• Maintain a professional and positive image for the charities you represent.

Required profile

• Confident, optimistic and resilient communicator.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a field environment.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Basic numeracy for handling donation amounts.
