About the role
This contract position ensures that sufficient IT service capacity is available to meet current and forecast business demand while minimising the risk of service degradation or outages. The role is remote, requires Active SC clearance, and runs for 4‑6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor service, infrastructure, and application capacity trends.
- Identify capacity constraints and risks before they impact service.
- Coordinate capacity planning across technical teams.
- Assess the impact of major incidents on service capacity and resilience.
- Support recovery planning during major incidents where capacity or performance is affected.
- Provide demand forecasting and growth planning.
- Escalate capacity‑related risks to operational and leadership teams.
