Capital Allowances Assistant Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a Top 20 accountancy and advisory firm to expand its Capital Allowances team. The Capital Allowances Assistant Manager will join a nationally integrated team, handling the full lifecycle of claims and working across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support Capital Allowances claims from site visit through to final report.
• Apply tax legislation to a broad range of property‑related expenditure.
• Attend and contribute to site visits.
• Collaborate with tax and audit colleagues across the country.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and optimise claims.
• Take ownership of work and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Approximately 2+ years’ experience in Capital Allowances.
• Experience in claim preparation and site visits.
• Strong understanding of Capital Allowances tax legislation.
• Ability to work across the full scope of Capital Allowances.
