Capital Markets Associate

About the role

Robert Half is partnering with a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed FinTech business to recruit a Capital Markets Associate. The role offers broad exposure to investor relations, transaction execution, portfolio performance, structured finance and capital‑raising activities within a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain sophisticated cash‑flow and financial models to support investment and funding activities.
• Analyse portfolio performance and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the execution of funding transactions from origination through to completion.
• Prepare investment papers, presentations and marketing materials for institutional investors.
• Assist with due‑diligence processes and coordinate information requests across multiple stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders and funding partners.
• Monitor market developments and identify trends within credit, lending and structured‑finance markets.
• Work cross‑functionally with finance, credit, operations and commercial teams to deliver strategic funding objectives.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of funding structures and investment products.
• Drive improvements in reporting, data analysis and investment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in investment banking, structured finance, capital markets, corporate finance, debt advisory or a similar analytical finance environment.
• Strong financial‑modelling and cash‑flow forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets, credit products and risk analysis.
• Demonstrable experience supporting transactions and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with exceptional analytical skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive and comfortable operating within a fast‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
