Capital Markets COO – Equities Business Manager

About the role

Marex is looking for a high‑calibre Capital Markets COO / Business Management professional to support the strategic development and governance of its Equities business. This front‑office aligned position works closely with sales, trading, support, control functions and senior management to drive growth, operational efficiency and regulatory readiness across the Capital Markets platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Capital Markets COO and senior business heads in day‑to‑day management and strategic development of the Equities business.
• Drive and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives from concept through delivery, acting as the central coordination point across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Finance.
• Track and manage business priorities, strategic workstreams and change initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, governance and timely execution.
• Prepare high‑quality materials for senior management, governance forums and executive stakeholders.
• Develop scalable operating models, governance frameworks and management information.
• Escalate and resolve issues, risks and dependencies promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior business management or COO support within a capital markets or financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior audiences.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale business change and new product launches.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication and governance skills.
