Care Assistant – All Levels

About the role

Join Beechgrove Care Home in Lanark and provide person‑centred care for up to 70 residents. Whether you are starting your care career or looking to move into senior or team‑leader responsibilities, you will work in a supportive, modern environment where every day makes a difference.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meals and meaningful engagement.
• Create a safe, comfortable and respectful environment for all residents.
• For senior and team‑leader roles: support and guide colleagues, oversee shifts, administer medication (where trained), maintain accurate records, and communicate with families, healthcare professionals and management.

Required profile

• Care Assistants: caring, compassionate, reliable, willing to learn; Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification desirable but not essential.
• Senior Care Assistants / Team Leaders: proven experience in a care setting, SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) working towards or holding SVQ Level 3, confidence in medication administration (or willingness to train), supportive leadership attitude.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate £13.60 – £15.00 (depending on experience)
• Full‑time and part‑time shifts, days or nights
