About the role
This is a casual, part‑time Bank Care Assistant role in a Barchester care home, offering flexible hours to support residents with daily living and companionship. You will help ensure each resident receives high‑quality, personalised care while gaining varied, rewarding experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with food, drink and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and companionship, fostering a supportive environment.
- Support daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene and social interaction.
- Follow care home policies and health & safety procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Can‑do attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic, warm‑hearted and compassionate approach.
