Care Assistant – Cobham

About the role

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our award‑winning team at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham. You will work alongside dedicated staff to provide high‑quality personal care and support to our residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and toileting while promoting independence.
• Monitor and report clinical risk factors such as weight loss, pressure areas, falls and signs of infection.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, their families and visitors.
• Follow safe working procedures and adhere to care home policies.
• Support the care team by carrying out reasonable instructions and covering duties at short notice.

Required profile

• Demonstrates caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable values.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative, flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Willingness to learn through a thorough induction and training programme.
