Care Assistant – Evening Shift (Part‑time)

About the role
Join a Barchester care home as a Care Assistant, providing compassionate support to residents during evening shifts. You will help create a safe, comfortable environment while fostering meaningful interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with food, drink and personal care following individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one companionship and support daily living activities.
- Ensure residents’ wellbeing and safety throughout the shift.
- Document care activities accurately and communicate any concerns to senior staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic and warm‑hearted approach.
- Commitment to delivering high‑standard care.
