Care Assistant – Evenings & Weekends in Beighton, Birley & Mosborough

About the role

We are looking for compassionate female Care Assistants to support people in the Beighton, Birley and Mosborough areas during evenings and weekends. You will help individuals live independently at home, providing dignified personal care and promoting choice.

Key responsibilities

• Support people to meet their personal outcomes.
• Promote independence using enabling approaches.
• Deliver personalised care based on choice and control.
• Provide personal care that protects dignity.
• Communicate effectively with families, professionals and colleagues.
• Record and share information accurately and on time.
• Help people stay connected to their communities.

Required profile

• Female applicants only (in line with Equality Act 2010).
• Availability on Sundays and weekends.
• Reliable, kind and motivated to make a difference.
• No prior care experience required.

Required skills

• Basic life support.
• Moving and positioning.
• Pressure care.
• Infection prevention.
• Medication support.
