Care Assistant – Flexible Hours & Competitive Pay

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Care Assistants to join our team across the Isle of Wight, supporting older adults in Freshwater and surrounding areas. You will help clients maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with basic cooking.
• Carry out light household tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
• Shop for groceries and other essential items.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and encourage social interaction.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (required for block‑paid roles).
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends on a two‑week rota.
• Good English communication skills.
