Care Assistant – Full-time, Surbiton

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team at Milverton Nursing Home in Surbiton. In this full‑time, permanent position you will support residents with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care, including washing, dressing, eating and mobility assistance.
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity throughout the day.
• Monitor wellbeing and promptly report any concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate care records and collaborate with nurses and other staff.
• Build positive relationships with residents, their families and colleagues.

Required profile

• A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to delivering excellent care.
• Right to work in the UK and a good standard of English.
